Non sparking Griff and Coils

Can anyone out there give me any advice. I've got a 92 Griff which I mistakingly left without starting over the Christmas period and now it won't fire. The engine turns over but there's no spark from the plugs. Someone suggested to me that it could be the coil but my local dealer wants £55 + VAT so if anyone knows a good aftermarket version then please let me know.

There is a posting on this site in the griff forum back in Septemberish which suggests reinitialising the burglar alarm as your griff may still be immobilised by the alarm.
