Finally got my car back on the road! After 3.5 months waiting for a new manifold from TVR. Just got to learn to drive properly again. Bit of change from the 1.4 Golf I've been driving whilst waiting...

It (she) is a 92K. One of the ?outlet? pipes was completely cracked all the way round so wasn't repairable. The dealer or TVR did have any spare manifolds, so one had to be made. TVR just kept on saying they were having production problems. Hope the other one doesn't go the same way anytime soon...

I had a similar problem, my crankshaft went on my 500 Griff and I had to wait for another to be made. In the end it took about six weeks which was really frustrating as I had only had the car two days before it went.

Ouch. I was half thinking of getting a 500 so that I might not have these availability problems, but sounds like I might as well not bother. I'll just have to wait until I get bored/used to the power of my 4.3 (hehe, might be a while)

It depends on the parts required. There are other suppliers out there other than TVR.
