Rolls like a Bentley
Discussion
I recently bought a young Griffith (one of the last 100). Previously I have done around 70,000 miles in both an early 500 and early 4.0, so I'm reasonably familiar with the handling, although this young one has power steering (which I wouldn't have by choice).
Now the suspension set up on this latest Griffith (with the different rear lights) looks completely different, they appear to have dropped the back much lower and the nose is up in the air. In addition, the damn thing is wallowing all over the place. I suspect a dodgy shock or loose anti-roll bar. Anybody else experienced anything similar?

The only bit I can explain is that the SEs have 16" wheels all round, as opposed to 15" at the front. This might make the front a bit higher? In fact I heard that one reason they originally specified 15" at the front was to help keep the nose down at speed... might be wrong though.
I don't know what it is but Griffs with 16" front and rear wheels always look as though the front is sticking up in the air (at least the ones I've seen). Don't understand it as the wheel/tyre diameter is the same as the 15" wheel/tyre
I've been in one of the last 100 and it was as solid as a rock - must be a dodgy damper I guess.
