Has anyone out there toilled with the idea of putting griff mirrors with the door opening mechanism on them,on a "S" would they fit! and how hard would it be to wire up(easy i would think).
I just think it might add a bit more security as the normal locking mech isnt hard to get into.ok i no you can get in anything pretty easily with a softop, but every little helps.
Or even adapting the original citreon mirrors, theres plenty of nice push button switcthes out there!!

The mirrors are standard Citroen ones (as used on V8S etc) with a hole drilled in the bottom for a switch. Easy peasy to add a similar switch to yours. What would take more work is adding the solenoid release mechanism for the door lock. Maybe you can copy the type used on a Griffith/Chimaera, I don't know.
Cheers,
Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)
