I briefly spoke to the owner of a very nice looking Red Griffith with I think wire wheels and a pair of very small black spot lamps mounted in the grill between the main units, (I was wandering around the carpark with RudeGirl and Joolz)..

I think I've seen the car somewhere else too, PistonFest perhaps?

Anyway, am trying to find out the source of the lamps. IIRC they are not all that easy to get hold of, but are supposed to be bloody good.. The light levels at the front of the S aren't that great, so am investigating a number of options, one of which would be these...

Anyone err, shed any light on the subject?

I think these guys sell all sorts of lighting gear - no affiliation, never used them, just know they exist. And that they are just down the road from me!

Looked in a reasonably large halfords but didn't find what I was thinking of. There is another one in town so as I'm out of WD40 anyway, I'll drop by and see what I find..

The PIAA site looks like the sort of thing I was thinking of, (but perhaps a little more than I was exp-ecting to pay ). Best way to describe them is by comparing the new slim, black cat eye lamp I have on my MTB with the old chunky and less bright thing. I'll let you know what I find..
