My 4.0 L Griff wont rev beyond about 5200, think I have also got a hole in the exhaust. Could the two be related.

Could it be the Rev Counter playing up??

Wouldnt expect a hole in the exhaust to have that effect unless its HUGE, but could be wrong.

There was a thread not too far back about rev limiters, IIRC. Someone commented that theirs was set at about 5200, and the "norm" appeared to be nearer the 6000 range with some possibly at 6250.

Can't find t'other thread at the mo - and can't see the connection with 'zorts (apart from you should have a hole at the back )
