How hot is hot? Only reason I ask is that "they all do that sir". You will never get cool air out of the main vents without aircon basically. Even with no fans on with my 500 the cabin warmed up quite quickly. Even on a cold day I soon learned to set off on a journey in a T-shirt to avoid having to stop and strip off an hour down the road

They all do that, Sir....

No, seriously they do - where else is the heat going to go? Bodywork won't conduct it away like a tin can would, only place for air to go is in to the cabin. Apparently a/c can help, but that's for whimps only.

But make sure you have located all the vents - a mate with an early Chimaera pulled out his carpet the other day and found an intended air vent into the drivers footwell - now gets cool air from the wing onto his legs....

I can set mine to cold and when the controller warms up it slowly turns up the heat by itself! Temporary cure to disconnect the motor supply to the valve, when in the cold position of course!

I re-aligned the servo with the valve (there are little white blobs of piant to make this easy) and since it has boon fine, honestly... Rich...

It can be done, mine blows cold after a few minutes even on hot day’s (so long as your moving of course).

Cheers,

Simon.
