I believe it's about 3,000 griffs, 4.0, 4.3 and 500.
Compared to about 11,000 - 12000 chimaeras

Anybody know the exact figures?

Well I've got one of them.....

But seriously, there is a pretty good estimate in Steve Heath's Bible, my copy of which is unfortunately ten miles (or five minutes drive) from me - suggest you add on the last 100 Specials and you can't be far off!

Hmm, dunno -- with the best will in the world, Steve's book came out around, what, 1997-98? It's now four years old...

Steve Heaths estimates of production figures.
He writes that this figures are approximate.

pre 500:
1992 602
1993 114
500:
1993 129
1994 225
1995 250
1996 275
1997 300

3 Chimaeras to 1 Griffith

Steve, I hope you don´t mind.

Ah-ha!

So they're still a rare beauty then - not like those common Chimps!!

And, we all wonder, how many are still on the road?

BTW yes - you are right - if I go home now I will be more than five minutes in the rush hour traffic. Still, the soundtrack (even at idle) is worth it against the backdrop of Mundaneos and Vectors.

Acording to both the factory and the TVR car club it is about 2000 Griffs Including all varients and about 5000 Chimaera's at least it was the last time I asked them (about a month ago)

Remarkable really, when the Griffs styling is so much more nicer to look at - ducks for cover.

Only I.M.O, if it's got a TVR badge on it - I like it!!

That's all very well for Griffs and Chims, but does anyone know how many Tuscans have been made so far? I will be the very proud owner of one on Saturday (counting down the hours!) and was wondering how many I will see as I hare around the countryside!

Well mate, if you anywhere near me, bugger all. I have never seen one on the roads, only at a dealership. True.

How ever many there were yesterday, the world is one 4.3 lighter now - I saw it in a ditch near the A1 at Biggleswade this morning.

If the owner comes online - I hope all is well.
