Where did the road go?

Managed to spin the Griff a couple of weeks ago on a corner in a country lane. The road was damp and the camber against me but I was only doing about 40mph!

It was probably me, but I want to get the car checked to be sure that all is correct in the steering/suspension department. I want someone who knows these cars inside-out to take it out for a hard drive and tell me whether it is doing what it should be doing. I would also like some advice about improving the handling generally, which feels less stable than my wife's Scenic.

I have servicing and repairs done at Walldonway near Maidstone, but is a main dealer the best place for this sort of work? If not, what is the recommendation for the Kent/Sussex/Surrey areas.
