Was waiting for my renewal to pop up soon on the Griff... so thought why not give them a ring and get the shock early

Rang ClassicLine to speak to Darren. He's out, but a very nice lady dealt with my enquiry.

After all this bad news about prices going up ...Gobsmacked.... my insurance has gone down to £542 for the year... (6NCB , FC, limited 5K, guaranteed value, recovery, car)

No one else can come close to this.. there is a TVR god up there......

Me too, just had classic lines renewal through, cheaper than last year at £550 for 5K miles and they'll protect my NCD whereas one company who quoted me at Bruntingthorpe at the weekend wouldn't, as I've made a claim within the last 3 years.

Tried classicline last year but I had just changed jobs and given up my company car. I was told they couldn't insure me as the Griff was my only car.

Last year went with sunninghill for £565 but without the european breakdown as the Griff was too old (94).

Still waiting for the renewal quote this year but have had a good quote from Mannings who I used to be with before the Independent insurance collapse.

94 Griff500,5000 miles limited, £550 excess, protected no claims, legal assistance, courtesy car, accident recovery, windscreen cover, European use, TVRCC organised track day cover.
Am 36years old with 7 years no claims on TVR's.
Cost £549
