Fuel Types ????

Hello just putting my griff on the road this weekend, However wondering what fuel you guys run your cars on????

Everything I have read says superplus and a colleague of mine who previously sold TVR says the same nevertheless we now work for Porsche and although all litrature states 98RON fuel everyone baring turbo owners run standard unleaded.

What if anything would be the downside to running standard unleaded???

At risk of being shot down I run mine on ordinary unleaded, and Scole Engineering, who know more about these things than I do and have just serviced it, say it's running fine. Mind you, I don't hoon about on the red line like shpub!
