Anyone added an oil temp gauge to the car ? I've got this dream of a round little digital readout sitting in the dash
My old golf tells me the oil temp & I find it very useful

Fitted a VDO gauge, not quite the same style as the original, but most people don't notice the difference.
I'm using one of those dipstick temp sensors, works xcellent.

Real easy to fit, even for a mechanical numbnut like me....
Took out the clock, wich btw did not work anyway, and fitted the oil temp gauge.
Be carefull though when taking out the dash.
