After having my 95N Griff for a few months now it seems I could be about to take a hit in the wallet for the first time as it's leaking oil from the crankshaft oil seal. I know this because I had it up on a ramp yesterday and got a second opinion from the very experienced mechanic who owned the ramp.
So, after finding this out I had a flick through the Griff Bible and it says that It's a right pig of a job and that I'll probably need a new clutch whilst I'm at it as it involves taking the gearbox out, and that the leaking oil would have got to the clutch and knackered it. Funnily enough the clutch has started to "judder" when pulling away sometimes so I'm now genuinely worried!!
I just wanted to know if anyone has had a similar experience and of the costs I'm likely to incur when it goes back to David Batty??
Cheers - Chris
