for the last few days the steering on my griff goes stiff, feels hard to turn and doesnt always self center! i've checked tyre pressures and there ok but its odd cause as usual it dont do it all the time! did it all the way to work this morning but not once on the way home last night go figure??
any ideas peeps

Probably a siezed universal joint, the one right behind the front right wheel. Check it, it's very obvious in the wheel arch, right where it gets sprayed by anything the tyre picks up.

I'd go with xain, but are you PAS? Not so pleasant after it's dumped the fluid everywhere.....

Just had my rack replaced and it's a joy to drive now!

Always a good idea to check suspension geometry, though yours does seem to have gone rather quickly for that to be the cause.
