I took the griff for a quick run earlier. When I got off the m,way and reached slow moving traffic it kept stalling as the idle speed had dropped too low. Its not done this before and was fully serviced by peninsula last week. Its been fine since the service and up to now. Any ideas? Is it easy for me to tweak it back up?

Not sure. They didnt mention it, is it a standard part of a 6000 mile service? They did the timing etc.

If the timings been changed then it could be just showing up the dirty stepper symptoms now or maybe the base idle, which works in conjunction with the stepper to give the smoooth tickover, needs resetting after the timing change . All IMHO though, speak to the garage see what they say.

The general consensus of opinion is they should be cleaned about 6000, so to answer your question, it should have been cleaned last week IMHO.
