hi folks,as my dash top is due to be removed soon im looking for some reccomendations as to who to get to do the job(i live in gloucestershire, dash is being removed in birmingham) of re-covering in leather.the leather on mine has lifted away from the scallop on the passenger side,as ive seen on many a previous occasion on other griffs.is it possible to have it re-covered so it wont happen again?could you just re-glue the old leather?im a little worried of going to the expense, only to see it happen again!any previous experiences of this would be greately appreciated.thanks-mv

You could try AJ Trimming, they are in High Wycombe about 1 hour down the M40, numbers in sprint classifieds I think, not used them but heard good reports.

Are you sure the dash top is leather? It is more likley to be 'Ambla'(sp) which is plastic imitation leather.

Chris.

While we are on the subject of loose trim, am I right in thinking that if the front window surround leather comes away from the top near the rear view mirror it means the window has to come out in order to stick it back? That's what the dealer is telling me, and that it might need a new screen if it breaks when taking it out!!!
Any ideas or opinions.
