"Juddering" Clutch, should I be worried?
During a trip to Brighton yesterday I noticed that the clutch on my Griff 500 started to judder when I was pulling away in first and also when reversing. It's not very bad but it's still a cause for concern and I haven't a flippin clue what would cause it! Especially as the clutch was replaced by the previous owner roughly about a year ago.
Any ideas what this could be?
I’ve not had this my self on any of my cars and I may be wrong, but I believe the usual cause for the symptom you describe is an oil leak onto the clutch, the oil then burns off leaving sticky patches at speed and normal driving you don’t notice it.
Cheers,
Simon.
Interesting that as there has been a very mild oil leak for a few weeks now. David Batty's servicing it on Friday so I'll mention it to him and hopefully it'll be something simple.
Thanks for the advice!!

If it was done less than 12 months ago it might still be under warranty? (clutch straw)

I had the same symptoms...put up with it for a few months...then I found that putting bolts in the engine mounts makes all the difference!!!
