Gotta be Apache's mates pi**ing him off again surely now he's got his on the classis?! (See an earlier thread)

Surely any dealer would give you 12k without you even buying another car from them?

Sperm Pearl sounds interesting ...

...and why is everyone getting rid of their Griffs at the mo??? There were three on there yesterday. Guys, I know it's a free market and all but can't you at least keep your prices above 20 grand ?? That would help the rest of us for a while....

maybe because the tamoras are coming on the scene and if you think I can get £20k for my Griff then "SHOW ME THE MONEY"

...if only you had been around 4 months ago you could have got more than that my friend.....Hopefully you'll find someone like myself with a lump of cash spare and a life long hunkering for a Griff. I think the Tamora is obviously having an effect on 2nd hand sales at the mo. That's life I guess.

I think the prices had taken a major nosedive before the Tamora had come along....about 24hrs after I signed the check for mine, don't want another do you?

I read in the club mag that the prices were 10% more than last year. I did think what the hell is he on about? They also said they think the prices will go up as they become a classic. I think I'll be lucky to get 16k back on mine.

I put 20k on mine in a year, I now want something else, is it a crime to expect something fair on a trade in? if I don't get a fair deal I'll keep the car, it's a cracker, goes like stink, makes me grin from ear to ear and looks the biz...hell I can live with that!

Apache

Did your Tamora dealer take the pi** with his trade in offer or did you not even think it worth asking?

I definately bought mine to drive and not as an investment, however if I knew what I know now I would definately have considered bying private and saved myself £5,000 of my hard earned. This site in particular has given me confidence that the private market maybe isn't quite as bad as that of some other marques - and as I have seen mentioned somewhere else on here before £5-6,000 gets you alot of repairs even if the wheels fall off, and so far I haven't had a single problem.

Apache, Is the Tamora THAT much better than the Griff? Or is it a whole new ball game?

Lots of for 500 GRF as well

It's not the balls out raw beast that the Griff is (genuinely makes kids cry and pets flee when you crank it up)but a different animal when it comes to power delivery, confidence inspiring handling and all round competance....a tough call right enough
