trying to get a selection of insurance prices for a 5.0L griff before i buy, my company wants £950 which i think is a bit steep. i do about 9000 miles a year, am 42 years old with full no claims living in milton keynes. car would be on drive overnight and i would have a cat 1 alarm fitted. anyone think their company could do me a good price?---martin

Use the search tool above, insurance is a common question.

I'd try the advertisers in Sprint (or Pistonheads)

Also see www.adrianblyth.co.uk/links.asp for numbers

I use Peart, Tesco's give a good quote on-line.

Do you want track days?
Have you add a Hi_Po car before? (MX5 doesn't count!)

Try TVR car club policy through Mannings... worth the membership fee plus you get Sprint every month!!!!

(01491) 578759

Also worth trying Sunninghill (01276) 474844

Don't know whether anyone has tried www.confused.com for TVRs but they just saved me £200 on a citroen even when compared to lowest quote from other insurance search engines.

It's not me, it the insurance companies! Mannings for example is well known for asking for 1 years prior TVR experience, the Tasmin and Tuscan may count - tell them!

Just renewed for 400 quid , fully comp on my Griff 500 with Norwich Union Direct. FNCB, standard car, garaged, with my wife also on the policy (we are both early 40's, mileage limited to 5K/year. Also, have two other cars insured with them.

Good luck!
