Earthing Points
Discussion
Since owning my griff it has had a number of quirks ( as they tend to) which upto now I have turned a blind eye to.
Anyway, time to try get it sorted as I have being told that there is a 2.5volt difference from the battery to engine ( which is supposedly bad) & indicates a poor earth.
Also when hot the vehicle doesn't like to start, but will if I disconnect the fans.
The final straw was when a Porsche owning friend kept staring at the dash when on a run.
He obviously was listening to what I have being told were relays making loads of clicking noises, which I have became oblivious to.
He was far too polite to mention the noise but then I did distract his attention by accelerating like **** which he was obviously not used to.
Anyway, poor or loose earth points are supposedly responsible for the above so I need some help tracking them down.
How many are there & where are they?
Is it an easy enough job
Would it cost much to get them done at a garage?
