Unknown Dial in Cockpit
Discussion
I have a late 94 Griff 500 HC and am very confused about a certain dial/switch in my car.
The dial is located below the right hand side of the steering wheel near the bonnet release lever. I cannot ascertain what it is for, and my manual does not indicate it.
It has a three stage progressive dial and seems to operate a fan of some kind which increases in speed when switched to the next level.
Anyone have any ideas? Please enlighten me.
Thanks,
David Carroll

The dial operates the cold air interior fan to the foot well vent (eyeball on right hand side near accelerator pedal and (usually) the right hand of the 2 dash vents. If you are getting nothing from the dash vent the trunking may have unattached itself. Have a root arounf for the eye-ball vent it is probably closed.
Hope this helps.

But I have a black push button on thg other side that appears to do nothing. Anyone know what thats for ???
That should turn your dial lights on or off when driving with the headlights on. I think the theory being that they reflect in the windscreen at night (well they did on my '98 Griff but not on the '94 Griff)
Whatever, that's what the push button did on my Griffs...
Cheers
