I am looking at having nitrons fitted to my griff, only to keep her indoors happy as she keeps moaning, on the rare occasions she does go in it, that its too bumpy. Has anyone had these fitted and will it give a smoother ride when necesary???

Wish my other half would force me to have nitrons.

I went for the more budget friendly AVOs a while back. They are adjustable and fine between soft to medium. Past that point I dont find the spot on but that's OK for me.

FAB...but a little stiffer due to the springs.

so won't help much!!

get them for the trackk, and let 4 psi out of the tyres when she's in

Correct me if i'm wrong but if they are adjustable you should be able to soften the ride??

indeed you can. I don't know what the spec of the griff / chim versions are cos i wasn't in on the development of those, but if they're anything like the cerbie tuscan versions then on soft your ride is actually a whole lot better than std TVR, so no reason not to buy them .. better ride and handling? .. you can have your cake and eat it with nitron suspension...

I just fitted them to my 98 chim with 42k on the clock and wow what a difference. It has made a vast improvement to the handeling.

Damn. Something else for the Wants (read: must have) List.

How much are Nitrons gonna set me back?

that's the price you pay for being a small company with a big reputation like Nitron. All I can say is they're worth the wait.. apologies for delay on behalf of Guy and his small but dedicated team.

I understand that Julian, but I'm getting desperate the N/S damper is rattling big style and I don't fancy a trip to Le-Mans with it like that, plus the MOT has run out and the damper won't pass (having no cats won't help either).
Hope you have some good news for me soon.
