Fuse box wiring diagram?

Have a look in http://tvr.dspen.com/fusebox, theres a document & my wiring diagrams. There are pdf versions - original (editable) source is in OpenOffice format. My_Mo264 is how I rewired my fusebox (2 fan circuits, driving lights + dim kept on with main beam...)
Hello peeps (and Dave especially re. the above post I found in the archives, link sadly no longer working)
Does anyone have a diagram for the innards of the Griff fuse box? (MO264 Audi one).
I've got the box out to try to find out what's going on with the wiring to my otter switch and why when the switching side of the fan relay is bypassed the ignition stays on (see earlier thread), but am struggling to link the terminals on the back with the fuses and relays on the front.
The green/white wire to my otter switch, for example, appears to come out from the fan relay along with a second green/white wire disappearing into the loom (purpose unknown) and a brown wire which goes back into the fuse box again. This lot appear to be ignition live, AS WELL AS the usual ignition live to switch the relay, so I'm very confused as to what's going on (or how the otter switch ever turned the fans on in the first place, as both sides of the switching circuit appear to be at 12V).
I want to find out what this brown wire does but can't find where it connects to on the fuses/relays.
Ta very much
Ruari
Hi Rauri, you didnt search very well just looked on Davids profile and went on his website link and found it straight away
Just for you DIRECT LINK CLICKY HERE
I hope that helps and helps you sort out the problem

Just for you a pdf wiring diag at http://foo3.dspen.com/my_M0264.pdf
Normally if you have 2 wires it is so the single otter switch activates 2 relays - 1 for each fan.
Dave
ETA: Good point about the audi source BTW - this has been discounted in the past for some reason... Cant search old stuff it seems? Theres one on ebay at the mo I'd spotted (dont come up very often) which I'll buy and cross check internally, so hopefully we will know a source of cheap fusebox replacements.

Got it sorted last night - many thanks for all the info and suggestions.
Someone had previously wired my car up with a 2nd fan relay fitted into the usual place for the aircon relay (my car not having a/c), and a separate fuse in a holder floating around off the fuse box. This 2nd relay appears to be faulty with only 70 ohms or so across the coil, allowing 12V onto the otter +ve but not enough to power my new relays and also somehow holding the ignition on all the time once turned off.
Still puzzled by the duplicate green/white wire as if going to a non-existent second otter switch (which seemed to have 0.2V across it all the time as well), but I disconnected it and everything else still seems to work.....
So, I've pulled out all the redundant wiring, binned the dodgy relay, linked the switching side of the original fan relay as originally suggested, and all is well.
Ta,

Well since LordGrassover brought up this thread, and jingled my memory, I guess I should make public my findings
I looked at several Audi fuseboxes that looked similar to our M0264, all of them failed compatability:
No Tabs at top of fusebox that are cable tied to holder
No bracket at the bottom to bolt the box into the mounting
So I'm not sure how you would keep one mechanically in place?
More importantly each had several minor wiring differences, the most important is readily noticeable. The relay no3 which is completely blanked out in the MO264 is used in the Audi box, and unfortunately it uses the connectors at the rear which in all TVRs are used for the horn... So I am absolutely sure these fuseboxes wont work unless you rewire the connectors at the rear.
Please be very careful if you try & plug one of these in, I can foresee some of the differences being quite dangerous!
I have got an internal diagram of the 94 Audi80 box if anyone is interested, others I only made quick checks based on findings from this one.. There may be a more suitable Audi box out there somewhere but I couldn't find it

Morning All and especially Dspend, could anybody furnish me with a link that works for the wiring diagram mentioned in this thread.
I think I’m destined to be digging out the fuse box to cure a lighting issue ( no side lights or hazards) and I thought it would be handy to study the diagram first. It appears that there are a few gaps in the drawing used in the bible.
Thanks 🙂
