There was a thread on here sometime last year talking about exhaust mods & related stuff. Someone posted some piccies of an outrageously good-looking bright crimson Griff with a set of twin tailpipes. Wanted to have another quiet drool while I gently ponder the idea of exhaust mods of some kind but can't find the thread. Anyone help?

Do you mean twin-tailpipes (as in normal Griff), or quad-tailpipes as in www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=8&h=&t=14557 ?

This one is pinky/purple tho, so probably not the one you're on about.....

Yup that's the one, many thanx. Think it looks FAB (come to think of it, colour somewhat reminiscent of Lady Penelope's FAB 1 pink roller, perhaps?) Definitely more pink than purple on my screen...and those pipes are magnificent, must sound truly awesome. I will drool on...

Jaysus Guys!!!... thanks for that...

that car is faaaaantastic - I want that colour! I have been idly wondering how much a full colour change respray from bright red to magenta would cost, but the slightly lighter shade looks unreal.

Hmmm - pipes look pretty groovy un all!

That would be mine, and yes, it is Pink! Actually more Magenta really. It is in fact a Porsche colour called Rubystone, I am told. 3 Griffs were built this colour. Thanks for your positive comments! The exhaust is a Zertec Sports jobbie. As the car is a pre-cat, it is very "fruity", with flames on occasions! Since these pics were taken, I have re-fitted the exhaust so that it tucks up a bit closer to the body, which I think is better. I will be at Back home and Pistonfest if you want to see/hear it for real.
