Adjusting Headlights (Dip and Main Beam).
Discussion
It's a pain in the rear but, you have to remove the inspection panels behind the headlights in the wheel arch, take the wheel off, it's easier. It's held on with 3 or 4 screws that are normally covered by sealant, get some black silicone or windscreen sealant before you start, once the screws are undone, take the panel off, sometimes you need to cut it off as it's stuck on with sealant. You will see the three wing nuts that adjust the angle of dangle. Don't push too hard on these as you can push the headlight through into the pod and that really is a bugger, take my word for it. It might be an idea to take the panels off then take it to a friendly MOT station to get them alligned properly.
Put the panels back on in the reverse order making very sure to properly seal the panels.

You can adjust them OK with the wheels on, it's the covers that are a problem getting off/on when the wheels are in place, though you can still do it, I just find it quicker and less fiddly to take the wheels off. My car failed it's MOT for mis-alignment of the headlights. I just put the car in the garage car park, jacked it up, wheels off, covers off, wheels on, parked in front of the alignment machine, tested OK, no extra cost. It took me 20 mins, drove home and re-sealed the units, another 20-30 mins.
On a slightly different tack, I've just called Valeo to order a couple of spot lights for the Griff as the old ones are broken, again! No stock till January.
Any ideas on a replacement from another Vendor that would fit, any Zenon lights that would do the job, possibly smaller to allow more cooling?
