I recently changed the battery on my Griff, and managed to get a TVR battery, which includes a vent pipe connection on the top. Trouble is, I can't find a vent pipe to connect it to, and there wasn't one on the old battery either. It's a 92 4.3, so I wondered if the early ones weren't fitted with this venting facility? Does anyone know if they were, and more importantly, is it OK to use the car without a direct venting mechanism for the battery?

Thanks,

Dan.

I have a '92 Griffith 4.3 and it does have a venting tube which goes through the central tunnel carpet - yours has probably got pushed in behind the tunnel carpet. Have a good old hoak.

Yeah, there's all sorts stuff sticking out of that area. I'll have a good hunt around.

Thanks,

Dan.
