pre-cat heater panel upgrade
Discussion
has anyone upgraded the heater panel in there griff and is it easy to do? i have an early griff which has both window controls on the same side and would like to spread them out as in the later ones, plus do you think it would harm the value as its a precat(mind you its got a later nose cone anyway)
Hi Andy how u doing
I cant see any problems with changing it only with the lenghting the wiring but that shouldnt be too hard.
U could make your own!! its only steel with the veneer put on afterwards.
I done mine with some Carbon fibre sheet on top of the original steel layout,(have some carbon left if u ant some).
As for affecting the value, then only in the eyes off someone who would like it Very original, and like u say the nose cone isnt.
Also if u keep the old one so it can be put back later if some one wants to would help(like with the Light upgrades u can keep the old fittings)
