Is the footwell light supposed to operate in conjunction with the door switch,like the main interior light

I dont think mine is wired correctly then cos it isn allways on or off in the middle position

Word of caution on this guys, my wife knocked mine to the permanently on position, not realising this as I put the car in the garage I had a flat battery when I got it out a couple of days later!

What footwell light? - I've never noticed one on my 96 Griff 500. Lose several anorak points here, I guess!

I though this was the case with the interior light when I first had the car - until I realised it went out on switching the ignition on. It does go out if you wait long enough, but it seems a long time happening.

Word of advice - even when the interior light is switched off, if a door is not closed properly, the delay relay is drawing some current: worth remembering if you do not use the TVR regularaly in the winter!
