In order to avoid the stress of driving my Griff in anything other than freezing tempratures I though about fitting a rad with a thicker core, anyone know were to get one and how much. I know Le Mans is a long way ahead but the thought of missing my first opportunity to drive down in the Griff if it's to hot is praying on my mind

Solution:

This Saturday morning get in your Griffith and drive to the Chunnel, go to France and have a good thrash. The roads are much better away from Le Mans weekend when every speedtrap is out for the thousands of British cars making the pilgrimage. Suggest taking the Mrs to Brugge or something (good excuse, works for me).

Trefor, Brugge, great place but where the hell do you park a TVR - never been to such a car unfriendly place.

For car unfriendly you need to try Oxford. I refuse to go there now.

Last time I was there we parked just outside the centre bit, to the West where the road goes underground into a tunnel. Another time we braved the one way system and parked in a multistorey just North of the market square.

Brugges likes Griffiths !
Parking a doddle. Roads around the centre a bit bumpy.

Got mine from Cotswold Radiators in Cheltenham. They took my old rad and re-cored it for about £200. You will also need new cooling fan brackets but these aren`t hard to make yourself. Allow about 1 day to fit the lot. Results? Absolutely magic!
