Does anyone know how to take the pedal box out of a 500? Mine is losing brake fluid and I have been told this is the only way to get the brake servo / master cylinder out to renew the seals. Has anyone done it themselves or is it a dealer only job?

Covered in Bible 2 but best advice is that this is one job I would get someone else to do as access is a real swine. Not difficult - remove seat and steering column, undo clutch and master cylinders, undo pedal box bolts, undo hydraulic couplings after draing system and hope that you have the right set of tools and small enough body to get access....

If Steve sent out extracts from the bible, he wouldn't make any money selling the book!
