I've got a crack in my (pre cat) exhaust manifold that looks to be getting bigger... knew it was there when i bought the car and its next to an old welding repair anyway so i'm thinking of a shiny new pair, probably stainless 'cos i'm going to keep the car a while. Phoned a couple of places and then tried christopher neils who recommended JP Exhausts in Macclesfield.. anyone had experience of them or suggest anywhere cheaper??

JP used to advertise in Sprint, ... many years ago I bought a system for an S1 from them, it's still on my car. I also think that David Gerald use their stuff.

I did have an issue with fit, esp on the down pipes on the S (fan belt / chassis gap is small) so I went to Maccesfield and they sorted it.

Thanks for that, I visited JP today to 'ave a look - they had a 500 manifold amongst others that looked well nice and are building some precat ones soon - I'm going to start saving!!

Andy why not try the person you phoned for advice and reassurance(free) when you were buying the car. I am sure he sells Griffith manifolds
