Clonking noise when I release the brakes
Discussion
When lifting off the brakes but still moving I'm getting a clonking noise, it does it with and without the car in gear. I recently had new discs, pads and one calliper fitted so first I’ll check to make sure they are still ok, has anyone else had this type of noise? Any ideas what might be causing it?

Could it be the pads being lifted within the caliper under braking and then dropping back again? The anti-rattle springs should stop this if they are fitted properly (assuming you are still on the original calipers). Would not expect this to be noticeable above walking pace though.
Other possibilities, loose caliper mounting bolts, worn wishbone bushes or ball joint, basically nothing to worry about there then.
