Seems to be a hole in the market here for an enterprising dealer, or even Mr Zertec? What about it all you dealers?

I think that the silicon hoses talked about before were the Samco ones. Try the following web site: www.dialspace.dial.pipex.com/town/plaza/ggh54/samco/index.shtml
Seems like they even do purple ones!

yes, been there, but they need minimum ten for an order. Suppose I can build it up from bits from the Demon tweeks catalogue. Let you know how I get on.

Why not get a poll together, you never know 10 people could be interested if the price is right. How much are they?

apart from looking nice what would we all gain ? My factory fitted rubber hoses seem to do what they're supposed to do well enough ..

Bear in mind that the hoses on the 4.x and 5 litre cars, serp and pre-serp engines are slightly different and a set for one will not automatically fit the others.

Bought the bits. Let everyone know how I get on fitting them. Also spoke to Simon @ Leven who is producing a kit for cooling system. I've got one and will fit that at same time. It consists of better thermostat gasket, different thermostat and different otter switch, together with water wetter. They tested it on a track 4.8 chimera with good results. Worth a go!

Tim Lamont of Act Products (www.actproducts.co.uk) is now doing Samco hoses. A set for 4.0 Griffith is £99 plus the dreaded. Available in Blue, Purple, Red or Yellow.
