Just come in from the garage after a good days work on the griff.Thoroughly p*ssed off though now, after finding out that she's got brittle bones!!There I was poking around underneath with a screwdriver, thinking about when to start cleaning/painting the chassis, when I found that the front n/s outrigger was like ricepaper and consequently now has a big hole in it!Decided at this point to call it a day and come in and drown my sorrows!Just wondered if anyone has removed the body themselves or replaced/repaired the chassis and can offer any advice?
Mack,
sorry to hear of your jesus outriggers ( all holy ) was checking mine out while it was up on the ramp at www.peninsulaautomotive.co.uk and was discussing this with Rich.
upshot was that i was lucky and have a good chassis, but found the prices they charge for this work weren't bad at all!
can't remember how much exactly, but it wasn't scarey! Get a quote...they do top work.
