Im back in the UK but my Griff is still in the South of France. After a heavy downfall it started juddering when cold, when warm it was ok under 3000 revs but over 3000 the same problem, I checked leads and dizzy cap and all seemed ok but i aint no mechanic. French mechanics loved the car but could not find the problem, they all seemed more interested in the car than finding the problem. RAC say it will take 14 working days for my car to be returned anyone had any experience of this.

Mmm...starting to look genuine? 'Dizzy' cap is a bit overdone though!

14 days to rescue your Griff from the south of France? Make sure you check the mileage when you get it back!!

Tell me about it, I wanted them to bring it home with me, but they would'nt have any of it, should have checked RAC info better I suppose.

Anyway it aint all bad, parked the Griff next to a new porker 911 turbo at the port in St Tropez, nobody took any notice of the porker while a small crowd gathered around the Griff. 165 mph on the clock on the way down with the other half, a boot full of bags and a near full tank and it felt great. Even better than the 170mph I,ve had out of my GSXR 750. I will grow up now and take up golf and maybe stick a 9 iron up my arse just like my gay mate mel, then again maybe not.

Louise, although you may be a woman in a man's world, it really isn't necessary to overcompensate by refering to sticking things up your arse!!

No, Wedges had numbers like 350, 400 etc and were fibreglass bodied.

Louise, the only way to settle this is to post a photo of yourself (complete wiith golf club inserted if you insist) in the Griff showing the speedo at 165 mph. I am willing to help with any of this if you want!

Look as previously posted you can't get 2 sets of golf clubs in the boot of a griff let alone 2 people, bags, and still drive at 165mph, and if you try it I'll tell John !

Now, now, boys and girl. No need for unpleasantness between fellow Griffers. Save that for the likes of Z1! Up the golf club!
