Have all the Griffs been repossesed, where is everyone. Or by some miracle are they all running perfectly?

Dunno mate. Haven't run mine for a while, but I'll be belting down (hopefully reliably) to Silverstone this w/e for Tuscans & GTs. Marcus & Ocean Haze Griff 500

Mines running fine (touch wood). In fact I've just got back from a fortnights hol, went to start the golf.. battery was flat as a fart. Pushed the golf out of the way opened the garage the Griff started on the button. While I'm always reluctant to tempt fate I have to say I'm well chuffed with the TIV.. Who says TVRs are unreliable??? I know, I know.. but I'm all right jack Dan and the Fyffes Special

Very easy but a bit tacky !! I know Aston Martin have just done it but atleast they've done away with a key totally (little transponder tag), all the stuff that Caterham use is avaliable for half the price from RS Components

Our development car is push button starting and I am considering a simple kit to convert the GM column. Clive Reed Zertec Limited info@zertec.co.uk www.zertec.co.uk

...i'm quite partial to push button starts myself.. ..only thing is the button will have to be positioned away from the dash as I dont think I can handle anymore episodes like yesterday when I mistook the hazard warning light button for the boot button at 140ish..I thought that i'd pushed the "Chaff" button as the entire contents of the boot including several pairs of the wifeys bras & strings exploded all over the A12... ..the boot didnt close until i'd slowed to about 40 so all those stories of Griff rear lift must be true... ..Clive make a button that fits the small instument pannel in front of the gearchange and i'll have one!..

I'd like a push button starter tool. How about re-wiring that (useless) button that turns all the dial lights off?

Interesting, but will are you all prepared to do away with the steering lock? If so I guess the insurers will want to know. But, if you keep the steering lock a button seems a bit pointless as you will still have to turn the key in any case? Rich...

I'd keep the steering lock and the regular key, but it would be fun to have a big red knob to fire her up with.
