Heater Blower Removal - 500se
Discussion
Bit of a chancer really ...
After finding out why the heater fan would not work in the Griffith I am in the process of removing the fan from the passenger footwell. Having already rewired 1 jack plug and had the whole instrument dash out ....
It's 1 of the last 100 and before you all go on about warranty I'm halfway there already and it probably wouldn't be covered etc etc
Anyone got any idea how the panel comes out. I have got as far as removing the heads of the rivets. Unsealing the panel and locating the 2 bolts on the top of the panel to which the heater fan is fixed. I can get my hand/arm in there and can feel where it rolls over at the top. I now need to remove the airbox and heater piping to get the whole lot out (it seems).....does anyone know any different.
May be easier to mail me off my profile and I'll give you a call. Will continue the work at the weekend, any pointers may save me some time. Had to give up earlier than planned on Sunday.
Next I have the screen wash tubing to re route ... I get all the best jobs in one go !!
Cheers
