My Griff is 7 years old and has done 25000 miles. Over rough or bumpy surfaces the suppesion appears to clonk and knock as though the bushes were worn. Once I speed up or get on a smoother road all this disapears. The car handles well and there is no play in the steering or suspension that I can find so far Is this a trait of these cars or have I got a problem with mine? any help would be appreciated Simon

That doesn't sound right, I suspect you have worn bushes, ARB mounts, ball joints or similar. Hard to spot unless you really know what you're looking for, because it is very hard to apply the sort of loads that are generated when you're driving. No doubt a professional would soon track it down. Hope this helps, Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)

I had a similar symptom with my Griff - turned out that the link between the anti roll bar and the rear offside wishbone had snapped. It clunked over uneven ground but made no noise on a smooth road.
