Just some advice needed.

MOT is due next month and at the last service it was noted that some of the bushes need replacing.A full set of bushes is about £250. Has anyone done this job themselves? I have seen the write up in the bible and I think Steve says at the end it is a job he would get somebody else to do next time.

I have been quoted £300 to do the job which includes checking/stripping/painting the wishbones.

I am also looking at replacing the shocks as the car has now done 66000 miles (94 Griff 500).These could be fitted at the same time and then the car set up for ride height/damping with a view to a trackday set up.

I am looking at the Redline shocks offered by RT(Wedge) as they now offer these instead of the Avo's as they have spherical bearings and a lot more adjustment. Anyone had these shocks fitted?

Any feedback appreciated.

I replaced the bushes in my Griff last year and it is a job best left to someone else, unless you have a large press and a lot of patience.RE dampers I've just ordered Nitron from Julian at Joospeed, give him a ring or check his web site,he is a great help.

May be a silly question but who makes these Redline shocks? They don't seem to be made by any of the well known damper manufacturers so they're a bit of a gamble compared to Nitrons etc. Presumably they're significantly cheaper though.

I am seeking out sources of manufacture for the parts that TVR did not make. If you get any part number info or manufacturer's names I would be pleased to read them.
Thanks
