AVO Shocks

Just had some adjustable AVO shocks fitted by Team Proactive, and was wondering whether anyone has any tips\ideas for settings? The car is currently set on 15, out of (what I''m told is) 24 positions, with 24 being the hardest rebound. It already seems to have a better ''feel'', and I guess I''ll do some experimenting anyway, but I''d be interested in advice from anyone who knows better! Thanks in anticipation. Did they suggest 15 or have you set it up yourself? I ask as I've been advised against the higher setting sfor road use - the chassis my suffer overtime. For trackdays that's a different matter of course - no potholes there! I've reset my AVO's loads, currently 10 for rear, 8 for front. Set them softer over recent French cobbled lanes - chance to plug my new members profile picture again here re France! Feel the cars happier if front a touch softer.

15 wasn't really suggested, but was decided after a general consensus of option. - An uneducated guess you might say! Seems OK though, but will definitely try your set up too. Thanks for info. Cheers 'Haze No we stayed there. 49 windows, don't you know... Question for you - now (our) shocks are sorted have you thought about playing with the springs yet?

Was going to snap a pip of my car outside my 'castle', but a backdrop of a mobile home, stray dogs & rusting cars wouldnlt really do it justice! Hadn't really thought about the srings yet, though I'm tempted to mess with the ride height (currently std.). Height is fairly easily altered with the C-spanner adjustment on AVO's, but having seen the (lighly grazed) underside of the sump for the first time, I'm a little cautious.
