rocker cover oil leak
Discussion
just had a service done and no big problems a few perished hoses and a brake pipe to sort out. but also
have a small leak on o/s rocker cover gasket. i'm a bit of a mechanical numpty but after a bit to much christmas spirit am on a bit of a tight budget at mo. so having a go at it myself wondered if it is just a standard rover vee8 part(local motorfactors) or a tvr part.
any help will be appreciated.
oh car is 95 griff 500 if that makes any difference

I've just had mine done ('96 Griff at 67,000).
The originals are cork jobbies - not surprising that they perish, given the harsh life under that bonnet - and mine are replaced with neoprene ones which will probably outlive the rest of the engine.
About £25-30 for the parts and an hour or so labour, I think.
