hi all.
i need to find out about the boot lock, that also opens the doors. mine is broken (little bit of plastic, not the lock itself) and tower view say that the factory are not making any at the moment. has it been a part raided from ford or vauxhall etc and if so what is the part number.

thanks

Jody,
do you mean that small white plastic thingy connected to a cable to pull, reached by the secret entrance?
If it is the same so mine is broken as well, and I try to get it quite long now (but I haven´t set much pressure on finding it).
Ordered as spare part I always got a lock or one or the other part of the lock but nothing similar to that needed thing.
We couldn´t find it on the parts catalogue and it seems, that it is not used on all Griffiths - ours is a ´96.
Do you have a photograph of it? I haven´t had a heart yet to unscrew it all and make a photograph of that very part, that´s why I couldn´t show somebody how it definitly looks.
But Ivan at TMS seemed very willing to help.
Let´s see if we can solve another secret.
Martin

I am attempting to put together a list of the bits that TVR did not make.
The part numbers or sources or manufacturer's details would be invaluable to all owners in years to come.

Thanks
