Well, at last finances are in order and I'm about to ring Rob Ingleby to help me find a 2nd Hand Griff!!!!!!
Yipee etc etc.

So what I need now is some final comments of reassurance from everyone here to come and join the party and that Rob is a super chap whom everyone would trust with their life (people trust me with theirs quite often!).

Thanks for all your help and advice over the last year, I look forward to regular contributions about flat batteries and starter motor problems.........

You're starting in the right place. Haven't used Rob myself, although I've met him a few times. Seems that those who've used him rate him very highly. Just hope he can find one for you soon - spring's not that far away.
As regards the car, I have had mine a year and still love it. Happy hunting.

Go for it man - it was alot of money for me, but I don't regret it at all (even when the loan repayments exit each month.... *gulp*)!

You only live once etc etc, and the noise, speed and looks just blow you away!

Go for it!

Make sure you use it and the flat battery and starter motor problems will either be:

a) non-existent
b) so rare in comparison to the times that you don't have problems as to be inconsequential!

The grin just won't wipe off!!!!!!!

Ditto... if you dont get one none of us will talk to you again (if we ever meet).

Had mine for over three years.. so less than 1 year to go before I actually own the thing (and not the bank), regrets... I've had a few.... etc etc.

Smile hasnt washed off yet.

Rupert

Rob is an extremely nice bloke who seems to find superb TVR's that are great value for what you pay.

We have had our Griffith for 7 months and it has been faultless. Flat batteries do not exist as long as you use it. Rob siad it was a good one and he was not wrong as since had the car serviced at Tower View and they thought it was a really nice car!

Hope you get what you want as we certainly did

Welcome to the Griff world...

You'll have plenty of

Never dealt with Rob, but know a few folks who have and have no complaints with his service.

Enjoy

Only a week to go and I’ll have had a completely free year, well apart from consumable items like oil and radiator rebuilds.

You know it just got to be done so come on and enjoy the fun

Cheers,

Simon.

Had mine over six months, totally reliable apart from a new alternator, 4,000 miles of blasting about like a loon, feels like Christmas morning every time I get in it. Go on, you know it makes sense..

Looking at your profile it appears you are going from an MX5 to a Micra to a Griifith.I don't know what you have driven before this but my advice would be to take very easy at first!Enjoy it.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely take it VERY slowly to begin with as I haven't driven a RWD car since last October.
Thinking of going on one of the TVRCC driving days to learn how to drive properly.
Only days to go now........
