does anyone have a pattern / template for the heatshielding material for the wings in the engine bay? i started making some measurements, got bored and wondered if i was embarking on a 'reinventing the wheel' exercise...

Hi Anthony,
What about overlaying the heat shield with a bigger piece of paper and using the "brass rubbing" technique with a piece of pencil lead or kiddies crayon. Cut around the resulting shape and "Hey Presto" exact pattern.

started using that method but everything is so tight and convoluted that i ended up with a pterodactyl shaped piece of paper by the time i'd finished. in the end i just took small incremental measurements all the way along and have translated them now to paper patterns...bags of fun
