Apparently the last 100 have superior handling with a much more stable ride, anyone out there know what they did to the suspension?

Where'd you hear that Pete,
I would of thought if any thing could of been done to improve the handling would of been done allready.

The factory now offer a suspension upgrade for Griffs. Not too sure on price but I heard £2K mentioned somewhere

when at the motor show, they were making a big deal of the new shocks on the T series cars.
the gas in them changes depending on operating speeds of the shocker travel.
so...
if you hit a bump...the gas move quickly and gets soft giving comfy ride.
if cornering, the change is relatively progressive so gas stays hard and gives good cornering.

clever stuff

i think ohlins (spelling?) do this £2,5K for griff.
I'll settle for the Rose jointed Nitrons going on this week

TVR constantly bugger about with the wobbly bits and the cars evolve as production continues, the last cars will be as good as they get, I,ve heard from many people (some who have replaced older Griffs with new ones)how better they handle, I'd like to know what the ultimate setup is

Could be down to tyres. I don't want to open up the S02/S03 debate again but .... no, I'll just say S02 far better. Dont last too long but at least you can feel rubber in your arse.

Having had an ex Griffith owner in my Griffith at Anglesey his comment was " I cannot believe how much grip this car generates " Far more apparently than his Griffith which was a '94/'95 car. He has since had a 4.5 Cerberra and a Cat. SLR ....

He was genuinely extremely impressed with how well it behaved, and how it responded to small input on the limit.

I do not think they specifically did anything to the last 100 as I have been in earlier cars on track which at the time felt as stable as mine. I have also driven a '98 4.5 Griffith which had the 'sports pack' and was very slightly stiffer than my 500 and the 500 I tested it back to back with.

All the last 100 Griffiths had 16 inch wheels front and rear and this may have improved the handling too?

Not sure how but thought I would make the point anyway!
