Just had a brown trouser moment - put my foot down while overtaking and the power died completely and engine stopped. Yikes! Managed to drop back behind the guy I was overtaking and park up.
AA guy turned up (in half an hour) turns out the coil is fried. He fitted on a get me home coil, and followed to make sure I got home - top service. It's literally the very last day of my 1 year from new warranty so I should at least get a free new coil!
Bit alarming to lose all engine power when you're giving it a bit of stick.
First time I've needed the AA (ever) and really impressed with how helpful the guy was.
