I don't seem to be having much luck.

The drivers window has just exploded inwards on my Griff leaving me rather surprised and covered in Glass. Has anyone heard of this happening on a TVR. I am trying to rule out it having been a nutcase with an airgun on the estate I was next to. It can't have been a stone as there were no other cars and I had just stopped for a junction.

Merry christmas, and if you have a spare Griff drivers window and a box of band aid, I am in the market.

Cheers
Dan

If you can rule out the window being significantly distorted by twisting, I can't think of any logical reason for the side window shattering under any circumstances other than a projectile.

I think I'd hoover out the mess and look carefully for any tell tale metal/stone fragments - you obviously have your own suspicions. Air-gun or catapult seems likely.

Sorry your day was spoilt in this way.

Maybe it's covered on your windscreen insurance - apparently the rear plastic screen is....
Good luck!
