My Griffith - Ten Years Old Today!
Discussion
Just put my Griffith through it's MOT, and it passed with flying colours - phew - what a relief.
Plus a milestone has been reached ...the car is TEN years old today and still going strong. I inadvertently induced a rear end twitch in 2nd going along the local high street just to celebrate (and entertain the hordes of Christmas shoppers). These cars are great fun!
I fitted some Magnecor leads on recently (sourced from ACT - excellent service BTW) and they've definately made a difference, especially at tick over - that V8 lump's running a lot smoother. Now, what about that carbon plenum
Seasons greetings to all Griffith owners.

Congradulations mate, in a poptastic blonde and balding girlfriend with a drink problem type way!
I second the Magnecors. Tim Lamont set me up with a set of 8mm leads and at the same time, a full set of silicone hoses.
I'm sure my old leads were very close to the end of their shelf life as the new ones have improved things quite significantly. Also, replacing the hoses forced me to drain down the cooling system which I think had an airlock in it before. The car now runs 7 or 8 degrees cooler.
Most of all, the conbination of magnecors and ACT hosing makes the engine bay look rather sexy. Thanks Tim!
Oh, car is 6 and a half next Monday!

Thanks Guys
My Griff was 10 a month ago feel bad now that i missed its birthday, to compensate its getting an engine upgrade for Christmas with a few throttle bodies thrown in for good measure.
A bit of a dilemma really, as i considered trading up to a 500, but seeing as this one has never missed a beat and everything still works, and is probably as solid as an average 4 year old griff, and cheaper insurance, I think i'll keep it.
