Any idea's?? My 96 griff failed MOT on car horn not working, thought fixed by changing fuse, worked for a couple of drives, then nothing...Fuse blown again!!
Obviously wiring fault or Horn faulty, any common area's or is this a new one?
Thanks in advance...

The horns can get water in them maybe that causing the fuse to blow. Also, isnt one of the cooling fans on the same fuse?

Try cleaning the earth lead under steering column and possibly the slip ring behind the plastic ccolumn cover.

depends on which one of the five different cooling fan electric design you have....

I would check the horns and connectors. Quite exposed to the elements. The slip ring only makes an earth so unless there is something radically wrong, it souldn't short out or if it did the horn would sound.
