Mileometer has stopped working when it came round to 30,000 miles, so did trip meter. Speedo still OK.

Any ideas on how to fix??

Leave it and enjoy limited mileage insurance! It might start working again if you hit a bump.

Agree, wait and it may free itself. This has been reported before.

You could try driving backwards for a bit (in a deserted carpark) and get it to .1 miles back, then nail the throttle and go over the thousand mark at speed ... hopefully it'll manage it this time.

They all do that, sir. One day it will suddenly and inexplicably start working again. Try a ferry journey..worked for me!

This has been mentioned before. Some owners have found that tapping the dial whilst moving will eventually free it.

I had to remove speedo, take perspex cover off, and help it past 29,999.999 to other day.

Rather painful it was too

We've had this before and I think the answers were
1. Drive along going balistic on the trip reset button.
2. Drive quickly in reverse for a hundred yards or so.
3. Take it apart and help it

Can we have an FAQ on this one please ?
